Backend Symfony Developer

We are seeking an experienced PHP Backend Developer with a strong background in PHP. Experience with Symfony, mySQL and Firebase is advantageous. The ideal candidate shall have 3–5 years of experience in PHP development and a proven track record of delivering high–quality software solutions. An experience in Java Script, web development, DevOps and cloud services is also advantageous.

This role is full or part-time, with a minimum of 60% commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a PHP Backend in Symfony, mySQL and Firebase.
• Collaborate with others to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the backend services.
• Be proactive and identify, correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Maintain code integrity, organization, and code reviews.
• Help with the AI, React Native app or web page if needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in PHP development.
• Proficiency in PHP and experience with the PHP backend frameworks and using git.
• Experience in mySQL, React Native, IoT, cloud services, Firebase, Java Script or Typescript is advantageous.
• Excellent problem–solving and communication skills.
• Eager to learn and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Language:

Proficiency in English and able to communicate in written English.
