This week, we continued polishing Symfony 7.1 features and fixing some of its deprecations to prepare for its stable release next week. Meanwhile, we introduced a Symfony Jobs section so you can find a great job or post your own job to hire talent from the community. Lastly, we updated the code repository to create the branch for Symfony 7.2, which will be released at the end of November 2024.

This week, the first release candidate version of Symfony 7.1 was published so you can test it in your own projects before the stable release in two weeks. Meanwhile, we continued publishing more talks and information about the upcoming SymfonyOnline June 2024 conference.

This week, Symfony continued tweaking and polishing the new features of Symfony 7.1, which will be released at the end of May 2024. Meanwhile, we published some blog posts showcasing Symfony 7.1 features such as the new TypeInfo component, the IsCsrfTokenValid attribute, new constraints, the MapUploadedFile attribute and some WebProfiler improvements. Lastly, we published more talks for the SymfonyOnline June 2024 online conference.

This week, Symfony 5.4.39, 6.4.7 and 7.0.7 maintenance versions were released. In addition, Symfony published the first beta of Symfony 7.1 so you can test it in your own applications before the final release at the end of May 2024.

Meanwhile, Symfony UX 2.17 version was published, with the first stable release of Symfony UX Icons. This was a very special week for the Symfony project. Ryan Weaver, a beloved Symfony core team member and SymfonyCasts founder, asked for our love and support as he battles cancer. The Symfony and PHP communities rallied around Ryan and his family and raised more than $250,000 in donations. If you can, please keep donating money to support Ryan and his family.

This week, Symfony 5.4.38, 6.4.6 and 7.0.6 maintenance versions were released. Meanwhile, the development activity on the upcoming Symfony 7.1 version was very intense because it just entered into the stabilization phase. Lastly, we published a recap of the SymfonyLive Paris 2024 conference.
