This week, all eyes are on the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Strange prepares to return to the big screen. Marvel Studios is set to bring Doctor Strange to the Madness Multiverse this week, and Japan is set to see the film in just a few days.

Now, Hiro Mashima has teamed up with the film to help spread the word about its release. They surprised fans on Twitter by posting a new piece of art they had been working on.

You can see the poster below, which features Doctor Strange himself. Mashima says that Marvel Studios commissioned him to create this poster to promote the upcoming film featuring the wizard.

Mashima explains that on May 4, Marvel Studios will release its latest film, Doctor Strange in the Madness Multiverse, in theaters. When it comes to witchcraft, it’s the best. Mashima has worked with magic before, so this should come as no surprise to fans.

The artist, who is currently working on Eden Zero, is best known for his work on Fairy Tail. Natsu Dragneel, the protagonist of this fantasy shonen, practiced dragon magic in a world where magic was real.

Through his work on Doctor Strange, Mashima had the opportunity to practice with new wizards. In preparation for its U.S. release on May 6, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will debut in Japanese theaters on May 4.

There’s no better time to get your hands on a copy of the film. As for Mashima, he is currently working with Kodansha Comics to publish new chapters of Edens Zero.
