The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity

I never liked movies until The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity (2020), which I first watched on Boxing Day 2021 and have been watching it at least once a day since. With each viewing, I still find new points for philosophical exploration and reflection. I am most intrigued with the plots and subplots, and even more so by the emotional aspects of the characters. In addition to being a Kung Fu period drama, this movie also carefully explores human nature and personal values in terms of love, loyalty, friendship, honour, service and sacrifice. The visual opulence and martial arts sequences are spectacular. A huge thank you to everyone involved in this production for being the best and making it my favourite movie of all time!! Unparalleled!!
