The writers of the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin film has created a tragic finale for the half-shell Heroes, with New York falling at the feet of Shredder’s grandson, Oroku Hiroto. In this dystopian cyberpunk world, all the Turtles are dead, except for Michelangelo, who is driven by revenge. Far from the comic warrior he once was, Michelangelo has one last mission that he knows could kill him.
The famous turtle, Michelangelo, wants to eliminate the new Foot, as well as Hiroto, and finish what his brothers started years before they perished, no matter what the cost.
And in The Last Ronin #2 by Kevin Eastman, Peter Laird, Tom Waltz, Esau, Isaac Escorza, Ben Bishop, Samuel Plata, Luis Antonio Delgado and Shawn Lee, the many tragedies of the Ninja Turtles’ final days begin to become clear, from his anguish to how he got lost in the darkness of exile. However, the most tragic moment of all might be the flashback that reveals Raphael’s violent death.
