Guilty Crown

I just finished the anime earlier today and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. I honestly don't understand why so many people hate the anime. I would actually rate it a four but I'm giving a higher rating because I feel like it is a little underrated. I get why some people might dislike parts of the plot and/or the characters (some of them are kind of flat), but the beautiful animations and music definitely make up for it. Also, there are some great moments that can be really touching, at least for some people. Still though, there are better anime out there. If you enjoy anime in the sci-fi/Mecha/political genres, I would actually recommend Code Geass, which has a very similar plot, but you should check out Guilty Crown anyway, just to see if you like it.
