Whether you like it or not, everyone knows Harry Potter. The adventures of the little bespectacled wizard written by J.K. Rowling have been a worldwide success, both in books and on the big screen, and it is not easy to follow up on it. But that’s what the Fantastic Beasts saga is trying to accomplish, by extending the phenomenon through the mission of Norbert Dragonneau (Eddie Redmayne), years before the birth of the one who will defeat Voldemort.
A big challenge for this new franchise, especially since it has experienced many setbacks, whether at the box office with a second episode well below expectations, or internally with the replacement of Johnny Depp by Mads Mikkelsen to play Grindelwald, THE villain of this license.
The story of the movie is facing the threat of a Grindelwald extending his power over the wizarding world and threatening the muggle world, Dumbledore calls on the magizoologist Norbert Dragonneau and a team of wizards to try to thwart his plans.
They will have to face many challenges, both against magical creatures and against Grindelwald’s followers, to carry out their mission. But in the face of the threat, Dumbledore may not be able to stand back for long…
This saga derived from the world of Harry Potter, which tells the story of Albus Dumbledore’s (Jude Law) fight against the evil Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen), accumulated 1.8 million admissions in two weeks, after starting with 1.13 million admissions in its first week and doing almost as well as The Batman in early March (1.17 million).
