The unstoppable Gundam saga is enriched today with a brand new manga taking place during the flagship period of the Universal Century: The One Year War.
Entitled Mobile Suit Gundam RUST HORIZON, this story tells the battles of an Earth Federation squadron during the end of the conflict.
The series began this Tuesday, April 26 in the fifth issue of the year of the magazine Grand Jump Mucha of the publisher Shûeisha. The young mangaka Kenichi Terada draws the title, while the writing of the plot is done by Hiroyuki Yoshino, known for his work as a scriptwriter in animation, especially on World Trigger, Strike the Blood or Black Butler (especially Book of Circus and Book of Murder). He was also an assistant scriptwriter on Code Geass and wrote several episodes for the series Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny.

The Gundam series was created in 1979, and the franchise has spanned several series, which has stimulated the creation of hundreds of Gunpla model kits. There are currently over 30 different Gundam series and movies. With so many, it’s easy to miss a series.
