Rating Summary
I love (almost) everything Trixie does. I love everything Trixie and Katya do as well! That being said, I wasn't expecting much with this film and I got a lot more out of it. I think it's supposed to be a look into Trixie's life as a performer but as others described, it was sad and somber. I felt like the movie shed light on how Trixie is a martyr in her day to day life... for her family, fans, and even friendships. It wasn't this campy high glam production that I was expecting but I'm pleasantly surprised. It was a bit boring at times but it the whole situation with Katya, her mom, and retelling her trauma just broke my heart. I had to take a break midway because it reminded me so much of my friends and family.

Trixie charmed audiences and judges as winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. But the grind of performing and the pressure of the title proves that heavy is the head that wears the tiara.
