The Disney+ platform has released the first five minutes of the « Secret Invasion » series via a hidden site. The series starring Samuel L. Jackson will be available on the platform from June 21.

The Marvel filo is no longer limited to the cinema, as Disney+ continues to develop the Marvel universe with series. The next one, Secret Invasion, will see Samuel L. Jackson reprise his role as Nick Fury to take on a faction of Skrulls. As seen in previous films (notably Captain Marvel), the Skrulls are able to take on the appearance of humans.

Captain Marvel and his cohorts have thus managed to infiltrate Earth’s political spheres. To save humanity, Nick Fury will be reunited with old allies, including Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), and cross paths with new faces such as G’iah (Emilia Clarke). The latter is none other than the daughter of Talos, played by Ben Mendelsohn in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Disney+ is playing an innovative marketing game. A mysterious site called TheInvasionHasBegun has been created. The site asks for a password. Enter RSD3PX5N7S and you’ll be given access to a video. This is none other than the first 5 minutes of the series

There’s a big surprise in store: Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman) joins Agent Prescod. Prescod suggests that even those closest to us may not be who we think they are. Is the Everett we meet the one we think he is? Or just a Skrull who’s taken his identity? It’s hard to say at the moment, since the sequence ends with Prescod pouncing on him.
