Star Arnold Schwarzenegger and Netflix have announced the production of Season 2 of « FUBAR », the action-comedy in which the actor plays a CIA agent on the verge of retirement. His political repartee was short-lived, because Arnold Schwarzenegger may have been filming since the 1970s, but he’s not about to retire from acting. And even if he’s not as prolific as he used to be, Schwarzy still manages to find roles for himself. The latest is the Netflix series FUBAR. A strange title which is in fact a military acronym for « Fucked up beyond all recognition ». Arnold Schwarzenegger plays Luke Brunner, a CIA agent who, unlike the actor, is about to retire. However, he discovers that his daughter, Emma (Monica Barbaro, seen in Top Gun: Maverick), is also an intelligence agent. It’s up to him to exfiltrate his daughter for her last mission. It’s a chance for them to get to know each other better while trying to save the world. The FUBAR series went online on Netflix on May 25. And it didn’t take long for the streaming platform to announce a season 2. With almost 89 million hours viewed in the first four days (via Variety), Netflix can consider the series a success. So who better to tell subscribers the good news than Arnold Schwarzenegger? Netflix has made a number of press announcements, and the actor has now confirmed season 2. The next episodes will soon be available on Netflix, which has not yet set a release date.
